Are the Sig P227’s no longer in production?

I’m not seeing the 227 on Sigs website anymore? What’s the deal?

Supposedly discontinued some time last year. Low sales due to limited demand and allegedly SIG couldn't get the mags to function reliably.
These guys list 'em though. Very expensive at $1199.99.

I have one. Just a tacticool range toy for me, but the mags seem to work great for me. Never had a malfunction. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it for protection if I had to but I prefer 9mm.

The SIG Model 227 replaced my Model 220. I carry it often concealed in a Galco "King Tuk" iwb holster and have found it to be a reliable and accurate pistol-though a caveat being that no more than 800 bullets or so have been sent downrange at this point in time.

My #2 son carries one that's been absolutely reliable...good accuracy and a nice trigger. He's got it in some sort of Galco IWB holster that works well for him, though the placement at his 4:00 position always makes me want to caution:"you'll shoot your a$$ off wearing that thing". Rod
