Are the Beretta Elite II's worth the money?

I've been pricing these and the best I've found was $613 for the 92G elite II (blue.) I'd greatly appreciate any comments from owners or anyone w/ experience with the elite line. Thanks!
 
I loved mine. I sold it because I needed some money - badly - I regret it. The checkering on the front and backstrap is a nice touch.
 
The price for the Elite II isn't too bad. I love mine. I also have an Elite, which has more rounds through it than any other pistol I own, 11,000+. The Elite and Elite II are more of a semi-custom pistol than the standard FS or Brig. Very smooth shooting and always attract attention on the range.

My opinion ofcourse, but you can't do better than Beretta. The Elite II will look great in your firearm collection. :)

I looked at one the other day. It was priced at $610. That was at a shop not generally known for low prices. From the looks of it I would say it would be worth it. If you compare it to a standard 92FS, the added cost is probably about right. I would guess the prices would come down on them somewhat given some time.

The one I looked at had a pretty darn good trigger, and the slide action was butter smooth. don't think I'll hold out for long.

If you really want one, they are worth the cost. They are a better deal used though.
