Are TFL'ers ready to "help" Al Gore?

Since tonite is election eve, please call as many people as you can between the hours
of 6PM and 11PM and yell, "Vote for Al Gore, you creep!" Then slam the phone down
so they can't have time to think about voting for Bush.

Then take a nap.

Arise again at 2:15 AM At that time begin making POLITE calls reminding people to
get out and vote for Al Gore. Stop calling at 3:45 AM

Actually, to do this correctly, one should leave off the "you creep."

This is difficult to do in the land of caller ID...
 
I believe to "shut off" caller ID it's *67 first then the number. Your number shows up as "Private" on their ID. These type of calls can be blocked out and if so you won't get through, so much the better!

As much as I like the idea, I think stuff like this could be a wee bit illegal. Aren't there laws about phone harassment?

Now, if you could get a patch in line to democratic HQ . . . :)
