Are Hesse free float tubes any good?.......

I'm looking into getting a free float tube, vented, and like the looks of Hesse. My question is, are they good enough quality? I've heard that people don't like the quality of their rifles, but I wouldn't think there would be much way to screw up a handguard!
Thanks!

i have not seen Hesse's tube but Kurts Kustom is doing some really cool float tubes with weaver rails attached

check out Kurt's forum on http://www.ar15.com

olympic is working on one too

I don't know about the Hesse tubes. I'd insist that any tube that I use have two pieces, with the barrel-nut piece of such a design that a standard barrel-nut wrench can be used. If you want a well-made, relatively inexpensive vented tube, check out the DPMS standard vented tube. It is of two-piece design and can be installed with a regular barrel nut wrench.
