Hey-

I have seen numerous "hi-power" scopes from BSA, but these are incredibly cheap. I understand that you get what you pay for when you buy optics, but, are by some fluke, BSA scopes worth my time and money?

I'm pretty sure thaty have a warranty so even if they are crap, i can return them, or exchange them...

Just wondering if anyone had any first-hand experience with these things...

Thanks Alot

I believe that you'll find the Platinum Series to be nearly identical in specs to Tasco's World Class TS scopes. I have both, and the design and many of the markings are the same on both scopes.

I sold my 8-32X44mm BSA Platinum to a friend for $120. Wish I had it back.

You might want to take a look at some of the threads over on Giz's 10=22 Ruger Forum. Consensus seems to be that they were a great buy up to about a year ago. Since that time their quality seems to have gone down the dumper and you end up playing return roulette. I was about to buy one when this started but have decided to hold off and see if things improve. Dave.
