I've got three: SAI MilSpec, Colt Commander two tone and Colt Officers in bright stainless. They're all beautiful in different ways, as form follows function. They are all well adjusted, whether I am or not.

A GI slide on a civillian 1911 frame with Micro sights hangin out in the breeze and little blueing left is a work of art if it brings home the trophies and cash. Teaches generations of new gunners. And guards the house like a good dawg.

1911's just feel right! Either you get it or you don't- and if you don't, go get something else!;)
