I think I just learned a new lesson: not all AR9 uppers are compatible with all the AR9 lowers.
I purchased this CMMG Banshee AR9 upper and this Foxtrot Mike AR9 lower.
Unfortunately, they are not compatible with each other at all. What should I do to address the issue? Thanks.
I did a Google search and found the below:
"CMMG Banshee bolt carrier groups aren't milled for the ejector hook, they have 223 style ejection internal to the bolt not the pistol style ejectors most blowback AR9's have. SO the hook if present has to come off the lower to pair it with the CMMG Banshee Upper".
I wonder if anyone has done that before?
