ar15.com deal from rock river arms question?

Yes, they have placed the order for the first batch of rifles. We have not gotten them in yet. The order I believe was placed a couple of days ago. I also remember seeing that they should be shipping out on the 4th or 11th of April. Go to http://www.castle-arms.com and check out the details. Also, you can go to http://www.ar15.com and then click on public forums. Scroll down a bit and click on limited edition group purchase and there will be tons of info for you.

I almost bought one of them but was scared away by only a one year warranty on their rifle.

Warranty????
over the years i've had a bunch of AR's and have never broken a thing on any of them and i've shot the sh*t out of all of them. If something broke i'd just replace it from the fastest place i could get it from...and i could assure that would not be colt. i have bought the last 3 or 4 prebans i've run across and if they had a warranty it expired back in the early 90's. A warranty on this rifle never entered my mind...In my experience they just do not break/Rust/Bust or Collect Dust (At my house anyway)....Dick

FWIW, I took a close look at a Wilson AR out at our local range, the other day, and the receiver was a Rock River. I'd probably prefer a chrome-lined barrel, but that ltd. edition special does look great. (I'd probably also prefer an A2 stock).
As far as I know, Bushmaster only offers a one-year warranty.
As to the comment about Glock's warranty, my experiences with Glock's Warranty Service Dept. have been outstanding, as have the experiences of a couple of friends. I was particularly impressed at the service that I got from Glock, when I blew up my G21, using an aftermarket barrel and other aftermarket parts. The Kb was clearly my fault, but they really took care of me! It'd be interesting to see how some of Glock's competitors would have treated me under the same circumstances.

Well Walter, Glock treated me like **** when my G22 blew, so I wouldn't P*ss on anyone from Smyrna if they were on fire

As for the RR guns, I've seen some of the CMP versions and they look quite nice.
