Ar... Specs worth $$$

I am looking at the following locally and curious if this is a steal or just average or even NOT WORTH A HOOT...

This weapon shoots great and all thats required to be able to rock with 223 is a BCG and a mag. I will upload pics of it and target tonight.

After I posted, I see it is a .22LR setup and last sentence says what is required to go .223... So if I intended to buy it as a .22 and add the .223 stuff later, would it be worthwhile... And what is a halo sight worth as I wouldn't want it. And the sling adapter? I prefer a cheap ol' regular sling set up.

Same goes for the stock... So would these items have a cash value that would significantly reduce the cost of the items I would want.

For the reasons already mentioned I wouldn't want it either. And to top it off it's somebody's Frankenstein. Who knows how well it would work with a 5.56 BCG. Likely not well, even with 55gr and under.

You'd be acquiring someone else's problem gun.
 
Yepper... I had decided to pass since it has a barrel I wouldn't want for .223. I was thinkin' these Big Boy Erector sets required a .22LR barrel and a different one for the 5.56.

Don't want it unless it is a great deal for a great rifle...
