AR RECEIVERS STILL AVAILABLE IN CA!

Was at the Ventura gun show and saw AR
receivers for sale. I talked to the dealer and he said that sb-23 prohibits the sale of AW by definition. AW = detachable mag +
1 evil feature(pistol grip, thumbhole stock, etc.). The receiver itself does not qualify as an AW by itself.Only after you add the evil features it is defined as an AW. Was suprised as hell.
 
I'm not surprized. I forcasted that this would happen, months ago. But after hearing the new definition of what a pistol grip "is", I'm not so sure. The bare aluminum under the receiver could be used for controlling the weapon, even though the selector detent would fall out...
