AR COMP or Tac for 5.56

[Old 454]

I just came back from the Tulsa gun show. Was able to get AR comp for 120.00 an 8lb jug (bought 2) and a 8 lb jug of Tac for 130.00
How do you all like these powders ?

I have been using H335 or IMR 3031.

I use Tac for high power competition SMK 77gr because I started with Black Hills blue box and they were using it at the time. Works great but was hard to get for a while. The only knock against it has been complaints about temp sensitivity from some. Never had any issues here in Louisiana though.

I have shot a couple of pounds of TAC through .223 AR's and in my .204 bolt gun as well. It great for churning AR fodder through a progressive because it meters well from a powder throw. It's a double based powder but have not experienced no temperature sensitivity and I also live in the south.
