I just downloaded a copy of the Army's maintenance manual; there's not really that much to it after you get the pins in. The toughest part is doing the barrel right instead of just doing the barrel.

Brownell's has a catalog specifically for AR's. The Army technical manual, for the AR, has the build specs such as barrel torque, etc..
