Why is a full auto M16 $20,000 and an AR15 is $1000?
Meaning, if you are leagally able to own a full auto rifle, couldn't you just buy the parts to convert one? Or is that the difference; you can buy one but not convert one?
Is it that legal full auto M16's are so rare that the cost is 20x ?
Edit:
OK, I guess these are registered with the "amnesty program" which makes them rare.
