AR-15 scope

While I was in a Paducah, KY Class III gun shop (I finally found something good about Paducah!), I saw a Colt-style scope on an AR. The owner said that it was identical to the Colt scope w/bullet compensator but retailed for $49 while Colt wanted $200 or more. Any info? Is it worth it? I thought it would be a nice addition to my Bushmaster shorty.
 
These scopes are normally Chinese-made under the "Leapers" name brand. They are decent, but by no means exceoptional. Trust me, you will get what you pay for with a Chinese scope!

Check with the dealer to see if the BDC is set for 55 or 62-grain bullets.
