AR-15 light system?

I have an AR carbine with a free-float hand guard, any suggestions on a light system? Surefire has one, but I beleive it only mounts to the plastic hand guards. Is there one that'll mount in the triangle of the front sight?

Thanks
Charles

The only site system I've seen that mounted on the front sight was a laser sight. I don't have any info right off hand about it, but if you'd like me to I can find it online. Let me know...

I had this problem too...sold the free float AR.
Here are some solutions however...
Wilson combat Surefire mount attaches to the Triangle sight.
Surefire makes a barrel mount for the AR.
The M3 Tac light (for Glocks) makes a mount that attaches to sight also.
Or you can get a scope mount with multiple weaver bases and side mount the light.

The M3 Tac light, is I think the best solution, but you need reach forward to turn the light on/off. Momentary will be difficult.

The Surefire 500A is still the best out there, but you need std. handguards.

Good luck

Sling and Light Combo Mount-SLiC

Two Problems - One solution. We have seen slings attached to weapons in a variety of ways. Cumbersome
add-on sling attachment devices, slings tied with para-cord, and even a few attached with riggers tape. In
addition to the proliferation of sling attachments, shooters then need to find some place to attach a
flashlight mount. The SLiC mount, Sling and Light Combo mount, designed in conjunction with former
Navy Seal Chris Caracci, attaches onto the standard AR-15/M16 front sight and offers a sling attachment
on one side and a flash light mount on the other. The light positioned at one o'clock on the weapon gives
you the best tactical location. The side sling attachment prevents rifle roll, which is common when slings are
mounted to the bottom of rifles.
