AR-15 and M-16 lower receiver questions

I have noticed in AR-15 lower receivers that the inside wall of the receiver is thicker around the area of where the full auto sear would be placed. If one was to break the rules and drill a hole for the sear.

Except the Bushmaster Carbon-15 lower receiver. it has the same thickness wall allowing (in theory) the possible placing a full auto sear.

Has there been any full auto AR-15s or M-16s with carbon lower receivers? Or has anyone else noticed a alloy receiver with out the sear block and correct thickness wall for the possible (in theory) placement of the full auto sear?

All NFA rules apply i know. Just curious.

If you have the tools to correctly drill the 3rd pin hole, you have the tools to mill the shelf to the proper size. :)

That’s just a nice company trying to save your anal virginity for you.

If you’ve got the $13,000+- for the DIAS a few more bucks and a machinist can fix you up a host.

Yes, this would be breaking "the rules". You are actually talking about breaking the law and commiting a FELONY with the penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000.00 fine. A single felony conviction would also result in the loss of your rights to own or possess any type of firearm.

question still unanswered

It seems when questions are asked (in theory). Everyone loves to talk about the Federal laws. Question still open if any seen a f/a carbon lower setup. Or a AR-15 lower without seat block and proper wall thickness to accept a fa sear?

Yes, I've seen some. The only ones with the "block" are "blue" colts, they have other differences as well.

Colt and FNH...but only to the US military.

What is the deal with everybody wanting to make full autos lately?? Im beginning to think the ATF is running full steam trolling these forums...

That is because forum members are politely telling you that they don't condone illegal activities.

Here is a quote from the moderator's welcome post, a post that you should have read before you opened this thread.
About the only hard and fast rule here in Full Auto forum is that, like them or not, there ARE some laws and regulations which must be followed. Please, no discussions of anything which might appear to be in violation of the law.
