ar 15 and AK 47 gun kits??

Has any one pruchased one of these kits. If so or if any one knows anything about them please let me know. I am not sure what going to be missing to complete an operational firearm.

The receiver is missing. It is the serialized part that constitutes the firearm as far as the BATFE is concerned. AR-15 kits are easy to put together. AK kits are a little more challenging due to the need to properly locate the trunnions, drill the receiver and rivet stuff in place.

With AK kits you'll also need some US made parts and a semi auto trigger group to complete the gun. For the AR15, just make sure you don't have a surplus parts kit with an M16 fire control group.
