AR-14 Stock... New M-4 Version... Longer?

I have a pre-ban telescoping-stock AR-15. I have been disappointed in the feel of the stock and haven't used the gun much as such. I was at a gun show and found a stock that was longer and had a larger butt end. The stock felt good, but I looked at one right before I left and noticed it was shorter when installed.

DPMS and Rock River both market it. I think Bushmaster also sells them. Is there one version that is longer than the other? Really need to know this before I buy one site unseen. The longer stock wasn't for sale, it was attacked to a rifle so I couldn't buy it. Rats.

Whoops... I think I found it. Bushmaster calls theirs a 4 position while the others say it's a three position. The vendor at the gun show said that Rock River had the 4 position one but might have been mistaken. Anybody?

I have that stock on my M4 uppered carbine. I don't think it is any longer than the older carbine stocks.

I just saw someone selling a new style 6 postiion M4 stock that is supposedly longer than the other collapsable stocks. I think it was in the parts for sale section on AR15.com?
