Appleseed is in most states now....probably not too far from where you live. Where are you....TX or OK?

West of salina about an hour. Worked in el dorado ks for a short while back in 04. Never liked that town much so I only stayed about six months.

We're working to get a range in Western Kansas....if you have a good spot for an Appleseed, we'll come to you!

We have to have AT LEAST a 25 meter firing line (more is better), prefer space for at least 30 shooters (less is OK), we can go from a bare pasture to gun club/church camp, just about anything. Appleseeds are normally a 2-day event...Saturday and Sunday.

If you're interested in getting a shoot in your area, advise and I'll forward more info on site selection and paperwork with the owner. Oh, we DO provide liability insurance for our events....that helps A LOT with property owners.

VETERANS SHOOT FREE!

For the remainder of the year (until December 31, 2010) military Veterans shoot free at Appleseeds! Register as "active military" and bring proof of military service to the shoot.

I have a question....joking...how's the weather for Appleseed's up there?

Instruction has been good down here. I just finished instructing a Lady Seed 2 weeks ago.

Well, we do 1 day Winterseeds Dec, Jan and Feb, and you never know. Dec and Jan weren't bad at all, but Feb was freakin' cold!

Our March shoot was weird, Sat was sunny and BEAUTIFUL, in the mid 60's, Sun I'm not sure we made it over 40, cloudy, windy, yuck. April, May and June will be nice, will get hot in July and August, September, October and November are usually OK.

We had our Rifleman's Boot Camp in July last year, it was up to 105° for 4 days straight...we aren't doing that again! Our RBC is in May this year...

I'd LOVE to see a Ladyseed go here...we're working on more female instructors, but it's slow going.
