Aperture eyeglasses sight

I'm fairly poor at the moment but still enjoy shooting my rifles. Today at the range I had the opportunity to try a 10/22 with the TechSight aperture which brought everything into focus.

I noticed Merit has one for eyeglasses...but they want $65. If I wanted to make my own out of something opaque and glue it on, any suggestions? Can't be too difficult...

Watch out...

As soon as you stick one of those things on your glasses it will not be long before you are wearing a baseball cap with a three foot long bill with flaps on the sides and a purple and lime-green colored shooting jacket. I've seen it happen before. Smallbore nerdification syndrome... it's a serious condition.:D

Try using a vinyl material like those old "colorforms" that your Kids or Grandkids have a toys. They are held in place with surface friction or are some times called static cling. Since they don't have an adhesive they will be easy to adjust location and remove
