AP ammo

Is it legal to possess and use armor piercing ammo? I was thinkin about gettin some(cause I'm goin to be campin in alaska). Is it legal?

See recent thread, some excellent reference to the exacts of law, in general rifle AP is ok. Why, if I may ask, does camping in Alaska require AP ammo, are the bears wearing level IV vests now?

Navy Joe hit it on the head, if you're going to be camping in Alaska AP would be a LAST choice, not a first one. There are so many hunting type bullets like the Partition or the A-Frame types that would be a real beast stopper!

NO! You guys have it all wrong ... the AP is for when the bears steal your Jeep ... It's to punch a hole in the engine block so that they can't come back for your food
