Anyway to tell if a Pedersoli was made from a kit?

I've got a few T/C and it's easy to tell which guns were made from a kit because they'll be marked somewhere.

Pedersoli also offers guns in kit form, but are they marked in any way to know if they were made from a kit?

Might want to phone Pedersoli for support ???

As you mentioned, The TC's are fairly well identified as a kit, in the serial number, although I have seen one exception. My SWAG on this is that the serial numbers on the Pedersolis should also be able to identify it as a kit. For the most part, I can tell a kit M/L from a factory M/L but there are some very nice kit guns out there. Most folks that put kit M/L's together, don't invest much in doing so. I have reworked as well as assembled quite a few TC's CVA's and Traditions. Most kit guns really stand out. To date, I have never run across any Pedersoli kits and the few Pedersolis I have held, all were well finished. .. :)

Look for "FIT" or the lack of it. Finish or polish of metal surfaces. Quality of finish and any checkering. Even the construction and alignment of the ramrod. .... ;)
