Anyone with Seecamp LWS-32 experience?

I had the opportunity to handle a very small, hand-made SA pistol yesterday called the Seecamp LWS-32. For all the world it looked like one of those little lighters I used to see. It was the smallest .32 I've ever handled although I still haven't seen the KelTec because of the demand. I would have loved to compare them side by side.

This thing was so small, I could slip it into my pants pocket and hardly feel it. It is a DAO, chrome job. I was told that there were very few of these pistols ever made in a year.

Do any of you have any experience with this pistol? The price was around $ 575 which is tremendously high considering what the KelTec goes for. Is it worth it? The instruction with it indicated only one type of ammo to be used. Probably due to the hammer weight. Any info will be appreciated.

The Seecamp is the first , and the best of the pocket 32's.Don't worry about this gun being designed around the Winchester silvertip round. It works very well. It's 61 gr. bullet deforms every time, and has good penetration quality. The gun is less than an inch thick, is stainless steel, has a cut out to see if the chamber is loaded, has a magazine safety, no rough edges, and carries 7 rds.!The gun is extremely reliable.I've carried mine in a pocket holster for over 10 years no matter what else I was carrying. You can have a gunsafe full of pistols at home, but this is the piece that will be with you all day long. You will not regret the purchase.

L.W. Seecamp is a small custom shop that only manufactures the LWS-32. They turn out about 400 a year and they always have a 3 year waiting list to purchase one. I have wanted the Seecamp for 10 years, I purchased the NAA Guardian thinking that it would fill the void but it didn't. I sold my Guardian and I'm going to buy a Seecamp next. The list price from Seecamp for the LWS-32 is only $375.00. I can remember when a Seecamp would sell for $1200.00 just because of the demand. The recent competition from NAA, Berretta, and KelTec has lowered the price of the Seecamp to $600 and below. If you want to buy a Seecamp for $375 you have to pay 100% up front and wait 3 years. I opt to pay a little more and get it now. BTW the Seecamp is polished stainless steel and is now built to fire all available .32 acp ammo. If you really like the one you held I suggest you purchase it ASAP before its gone. Also Seecamp has announced that they are going to make the same gun in .380 acp starting this year. I like the .380 cartridge better than the .32 but not in that tiny package. I'm sure the recoil of the .380 in that tiny frame would be brutal.

sorry the .380 is not going to be made for another 3 or 4 years unless you have a more recent letter from the factory.mine is dated 11/99.they are not taking deposits or orders at this time.the turn around is about 4.5 years now on a lws -32

The ultimate LWS experience is his conversion of Colt Series 70s to DA. Louis was a fine craftsman and it is great to hear the tradition continues.
