anyone use the tipton carbon cleaning rods?

I wondered how good they are, seems like they wont bend as much.

I use Dewey but my understanding is Tipton are in the same league.

I have the Tipton rods in both the small and large caliber sizes and I've been very impressed with them. I also own Dewey rods, but now they seem to be used only for the T/C pistol barrels.

thanks just wondered about the carbon

kind of got to thinking about it after I posted. Are the carbon rods affected by the carbon removers????? Maybe just a different type of carbon configuration but seems like they would. Oh hey what about the new hoppes elite system of cleaning rods?

I'm not sure how the carbon rod reacts to the solvents. But I usually wipe it clean as soon as I'm done with it. So far no problem. I like the ball-bearing handle which allow rods to follow the grove smoothly.
