I have a pair of 527 and considered the trigger one of the key selling points along with mini mauser action, nice wood and good barrel. I decided to give this thread a read and see what the fuss was about. I agree with Chris and thall on the quality of 527 trigger. I cannot comment what a basix has to offer.
One important note, some dont like the set feature. I do. And some like the set for target and std pull for field. The std pull can be adjusted as well as the set feature. I been a bit hesitant to make the full adjustments, but; the good replacement triggers are also adjustable. Either way the user will have to jump in and turn a few screws. I have 6 CZ rifles from magnum to rimfire all with set triggers. The factory setting as the guns are shipped out do vary. I guess that is the price of performance. To use the Ferrari example, you probably dont want one if you cannot handle a standard shift. Unlike the Ferrari, you dont need a CEO income level.
