In particular I'm wanting to know if it's any good. I only know of RWS as an air gun company that produces some higher end stuff. My LGS just got in around 10,000 rounds of sub-sonic HP and I'm thinking about buying some. I regularly use sub-sonic bullets for small game hunting and have yet to find one that wouldn't shoot well enough for my purpose. I would just try a box then get more if I like 'em but the store owner is only selling them by the brick for 50 bucks. I'd hate to pay a premium price for junk ammo ya know.

Gander threw in a few boxes when buying a Marlin 60 on sale - good stuff, accurate and they sell it for $10/box of 50

RWS makes everything from .22lr to 9.3 Mauser, they're a fairly big manufacturer in Europe for high quality sporting and match cartridges. Only the .22's are being Imported at the moment I think.

I tried some RWS Subsonic today, in a 10/22; grouped at 0.850 at 50 yards, just slightly behind Eley Match (0.775), Wolf (0.765). The best ammo I tested today was SK Rifle Match (0.360 at 50 yards)!!!
