Anyone seen a Star Starlite?

I love the look of this little 25. And I'm sure everyone would poo-poo the littlest acp as a defensive round, but hey,
when it comes to shooting, I like anything that goes "bang". I found one other reference on the net to the Starlite
that said it was also chambered in 32 acp. That would be even better. I'd love to have one of these. Too bad it is
not available in the U.S. Probably doesn't meet some goofy import criteria. I've only owned and shot one Star
pistol, a M43 Firestar 9mm. I still think it is one of the neastest little pistols I've ever seen. I can see quite a bit
of resemblence to the Firestar in this little Starlite.

Anybody ever seen one of these?

Star's are fine pistols

Unfortunately they are no longer available since they are no longer manufactureed, at least under that name and there is no importer. There seems to be a fair stock of parts available and that will get better when SARCO catalogs the stuff they have as they bought the inventory when Inter Arms went out of business but they still have not cataloged them.

The PD was probably the finest lightweight compact 45 ever and the Firestar 40 is a great gun. The UltraStar 9 mm is greatly underappreciated too. There were a few Starlites in the US but I haven't seen one since the early 80's, but you may find one around a gun show and I have seen at least one listed in Gun List.

They are good little guns and worth picking up if you can locate one.
