Anyone see Pat Caddall on MSNBC last night around 1 a.m.?

He was absolutely SAVAGING Gore on the recounts issue.

Caddall is a former Democratic operative and current "West Wing" advisor who last night said that it is his absolute belief that Gore did NOT win Florida, that the recounts that were ordered by the FSC were not breaking Gore's way, and given the fact that the Federal judge ordered that the 2,000 or so military ballots that were tossed be counted, Gore was basically urinating up a very tall rope.
 
I did see the whole show as I try to listen as much as possible when Cadell is on a show.

He went on to say SCOTUS actually did Gore a favor in ending the recount because now he has a chance to salvage his shameful image during this whole affair. Had the recount proceeded he would have lost clearly, but now the cloud of
"what would have happened if.." working in his favor.
