Anyone recognize this 22 mag cylinder

I acquired this cylinder in a box of misc. gun show stuff and am having a problem identifying what brand it might be from.
It is 22mag six shot and the cartridge heads are recessed. I thought initially that it might be for a Colt frontier scout or peacemaker and it does fit the frame perfectly and index correctly but the bolt stop cutouts are nearly 1/3 wider in this cylinder than in my new frontier.
I was hoping someone here might recognize the style and positioning of the "22magnum" logo and the style and positioning of the flutes and cutouts.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

All I can say with certainty is that it does NOT match the .22WMR cylinder of my Ruger Super Single Six. Strike that one off the possibles list. Other than that, I got nothing.

Colt is a great SWAG

WOW,
This was my exact thought when I first looked at the picture. ..... :)

denster, that looks like something that I've seen. Back in the 70s there used to be a department store (semilar to wal-mart) called Heck's that were located throughout WV,OH,PA they use to sale guns and hunting equipment too. My dad purchase a 22LR/22mag revolver there. I can't remember who made it. It was a decent gun, price was cheap. How I kinda remember seeing this was because it was the first hand gun that I ever shot. As a kid I would ask dad to let me shoot it and I always wanted to put the 22 mag cylinder in it so I could be shooting a mag, LOL
I could be completely wrong though. I don't know if you could search anything on the old Heck's stores. I know I could go in and buy Bear cedar arrows with broad heads there too.
As best of my memories they went out of business sometime during the early 80s

22 mag cylinder

Cylinder is German, small frame SA. One of names they were marketed under
was H.S. I think this stood for Herman Schmit, spelled wrong. The same gun
went out under many names. I would put them at top of quality of the imports
in this class. I would much rather have the HS than the Rough Rider that is
available today.

22mg cylinder
Left: small frame SA, German. Buffalo Scout, Liberty, and various others
Center( I think is yours) German HS -21
Right newer imports, middle size frame

Looks like it could be a cylinder for a German Hawes single action.

Drm50, I think you're right about what cylinder it is, but I don't think the middle cylinder in the picture is for the revolver in question.

Here's an example.

And a picture for comparison from that auction.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I checked closely and I don't believe it is any of those. Different flutes and cuts for the bolt stop. It may be German though still checking.

Maybe a Heritage . . .

Heritage single action six shooters have a 22LR cylinder and a 22 mag as well. I think it may be one of those.

Live well, be safe
