Anyone pick up a Rem 710 yet?

I've been reading a lot about these but being that they are so new I haven't actually gotten anyone's opinion based on actual experience with the rifle yet. I'm one of those who really needs a new rifle for hunting season this year but doesn't have a lot of green to spend on one. When I initially read about the 710's I looked at it strictly from a $$$ standpoint but now I want one because they seem to be a first step in a new direction for rifles. That is, a practical, useable gun you can take out in conditions that you would never subject your high dollar guns to. I've already decided to get one when I get the money but I'd like to hear what others think about them as well.
 
I looked at the 710 at the local Wal-Mart a few weeks ago. If I remember correctly, the 700 was about $20 or so more. My self, I would spend the extra $20 for the 700.
