Anyone own a Remington SPR 310?

I am thinking of making the leap into an over under platform. I have been lead towards this model because of it's price. I have read some good reviews about it being like a tank and coming with some decent features but I would like to hear your opinions, what do you owners think of it. One thing while looking at it that I did not care for was the amount of force it took to use the lever to open the gun when not supporting the front of the barrels, will that loosen up with time?

I owned one in a twenty... She was a rogue to say the least... With time you could probably break one of these beasts in but who really has the time... Try finding something a little more refined, possibly a CZ...

Spend a few more bucks and get a brand name gun that you can be proud of. A Verona cost only a bit more than the nickel 310. Compare them side by side and cosmetically. I am not saying to get a Verona but get a gunmade either in Italy, Japan, or Belgium and you will have something you will be showing off for your grandchildren.
