If so....How do you like it and have you had any problems ?? Do you think its more accurate then the Basic/Target models ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks

I have one, have over 6,000 rounds through it with not a single malfunction or parts breakage, and it has consistently been the most accurate pistol I ever owned.

Vyper, remember that people who are satisfied with a product won't talk nearly as loud as the few who aren't. It's just human nature.

Mine had a fairly long ( 500 rounds or so) break-in, iwth about a 1% jam rate. In the 700 or so rounds since then, it has functioned 100%. This has included various hollowpoints, and RNFMJ. Throughout the 1200 rounds accuracy has been superb.

The magazine sent with the pistol, however, was crappy. The good results are with Wilson mags.

I have one in stainless. Extremely accurate and reliable. I've only shot several thousand rounds and cannot say it's ever jammed. when it was new, sometimes the slide wouldn't stay back after the last round, but that doesn't happen anymore either. Great gun!

I have had a stainless one since December. Over 3k rounds and the only problem happened the first day. On round 128 the slide failed to close by 1/4". Wiped the chamber out, firmed up my wrist and kept shooting. I like it a lot, but the price around here (VA) has gone up $100 since I bought mine and you may want to ask the more experienced .45 shooters for recommendations at the same price or a couple of hundred more. I've had mine for about 18 mo. and several hundred rounds of factory ball, defensive JHP, and SWC target rounds. It started out accurate and rarely jammed with my target reloads ( probably the reloads) but it keeps getting better. NO jams in the last 400 rounds of target ammo. and the accuracy is even better (me? likely the gun).
All the best,
Bill Daniel

I've had mine for quite some time now. Reliability is excellent but I find the accuracy mediocre. I don't reload so it is possible I haven't hit on the right load yet.
My friend has the Springfield Trophy Match. This is the most accurate centerfire handgun I've ever shot. einy, meiny, miny mo Who knows. No two guns are exactly alike even if they are the same brand and model. Good luck in your choice. Sincerely, Twoinchgroup52.

Have had a Kimber GOLD MATCH for 2 years. Put about 5M rounds through so far; about 3M 45 and 2M 400CORBON with nary a bobble, other than going full auto once in 45. It never missed a lick then either. The rear sight blade broke off mine and they replaced the whole unit in a week. This pistol is not one whit more accurate than my pal's plain jane Kimber CUSTOM which is to say they both shoot very well indeed. TM
