After Gore's speech, while he was glad handing everyone around him, the balloons were dropping and the music was playing, Fox News zoomed in on this guy buried in the crowd singing what sounded like a Ray Charles tune (they mentioned his name, but I don't remember it). I remember thinking how sleezy it was that the Demos had hired an impersonator to, apparently, try to fool the TV audience into thinking Ray Charles was there supporting Al Gore. Did any of the other networks point this out. Of course, by the end of the broadcast I'd already buried my sorrows in a few drinks so I might have just imagined it
I've been really impressed with the Fox News coverage of the both conventions. They really are trying hard to not show any bias. Not only that, they really seem to be trying hard to expose the man behind the curtain for what he is, when warranted. Cool.
