I want to put a bayonet on my pistol gripped 1300. I was wondering if there is anything being manufactured, and if it would be legal. It's a pump, so It probably is. I only use it for fun. It already makes people at the range look at me like I'm crazy. I figured now that I have some formal bayonet training, it would be the right thing to do

I know that a barrel shroud/bayonet lug combo was made for the Winchester 1200 - we had several for riot control in my unit circa 1983'. You may find one in Brownells or Gun Parts. It's going to take some looking and I'm not sure they will interchange.

If ya can't find one, two words - "duct tape"...

Practicing with it sounds like a good way to bend the gun.

Is there enough structural integrity in a standard shotgun to support a functional bayonet ???

Maby the wabbitt wouldn't have attacked Jimmy Carter if the SS with him had bayonets on shotguns. Laughing wabbitt is harmless.
