Anyone know the value?

I have a JC Higgins 20-12 that a friend did not want anymore. It's at least 95%, great condition and seems to have sat for a while.

Anyone know the value so that I can place it for sale?:D
 
There's one for sale right now on gunbroker.com. Current bid is $90, and it looks to be in fairly rough shape. Another one on the same site is asking $199, and has no bids. My guess is that's it's worth maybe $100. That's a working/truck shotgun, hardly a collector's item.
 
More like $80 - $100 tops.

Take the value of a shotgun that is sold at a major dept store that is the cheapest gun that they sell and divide it by two.

J.C Higgins was a cheap gun that was sold even by mail order 80 - 100 years ago.

worth $100-$120.
Why sell it? They are great field guns for upland game.
I have several JC higgins autos and pumps and I use them for rabbit, deer here in Indiana.
