Bennett,

If I remember correctly, the Trail Boss has a 3" bbl. and an unfluted cylinder. I have a custom 3" 629 that will be the LAST gun I get rid of. A touch bulky for deep concealment, but not bad for under a heavy shirt or a coat. For heavy duty defense, it can't be beat. It's about perfect for trail carry.
