Anyone heard about the Vektor CP-1 recall?

Someone mentioned on another thread that the Vektor CP-1 is being recalled. This is the first I've heard about it. Does anyone have any details? I was just looking for a trigger job on mine, but figured I better get the scoop first. Thanks
 
Full details in the latest issue of NRA's "American Rifleman". Oddly, the notice is posted by Vektor in South Africa with contact details using S. African phone and adress and NOT the importer in Norfolk, VA. In a nutshell it says "DO NOT USE THIS PISTOL EVER, IT IS DEFECTIVE". Yes the connotation is THAT strong!
 
I thought the same thing about no contacts in North America. If you want to talk to a human it will cost you a mint and you'll have to make the call in the middle of the night. Two dealers in my area had them, maybe check with the tomorrow and see what they have heard.

I checked their website too. I sent an e-mail, lets see if I get a response. I'm also going to try contacting the importer tomorrow. I'll follow up here if I find out anything.
