Anyone Have the CZ-75 Single Action?

It is catalogued as SA-only, with the .40 style slide featuring extended rails. It also has a recoil spring guide rod, which the other models do not have.
I'm curious as to how you feel about the trigger pull. Also, if the safety lever is at all cumbersome, or "just right". I've handled CZ-75s before, and IMO the standard safety could use more "meat", which the SA version seems to have. Thanks folks!

The CZ-75SA isn`t out yet. It`s *supposed* to be released in a few weeks or so I`m told. I`ve also been told that the pics released of it were computer generated by CZ so a few details may be different like the 9mm`s slide profile. Basically it`s just supposed to be a 75B with the action parts from their SA match gun in it. I`ve kept my local gun shop badgering the CZ rep for weeks about one in .40 so as soon as they`re out I should be getting one. :D Marcus

Sorry. Had I read, "Bargain, Thy Name is CZ" first, I would not have taken up the space to ask about a gun which apparently is not yet available.

Hello. I'd appreciate any information on the new SA version should ya'll beat me to it. If I run across one, I'll immediately pass along information. Best.

I played with the SAO IPSC model at the SHOT Show and was very happy with it. Two things to keep in mind here though: 1)Some manufacturers have extra work done to the guns that go on display, 2) the trigger in the IPSC model is not the same part that is to be used in the regular SAO model. My CZ-85 is converted to SAO using a Dlask trigger and has an excellent SA pull. One of the reasons I had the work done was although my smith could get a smooth DA pull the SA pull could not be improved without changing the internal geometry, necessitating a different trigger.

I spoke to their gunsmith, Mike, who was very cordial. The SAs should have been here by now, but have been delayed for reasons unknown to him. He handled prototypes at the show, but has no idea what features may make it onto the production model. He seems to feel that you'll see the traditonal 9mm slide, w/o the extended rails or guide rod. Simple commonality of manufacture I suppose. He was sure that it would have a firing pin safety, and the black polymer finish.

Thought you folks may like to know. :)

Man, just when I thought I was done by pistols!

I may have to sell my Browning High Power for the CZ-75SA! Of course, another great thing is that I already have some CZ-75 high cap mags!
