Anyone have Kramer Confidant shoulder holster?

I have one and like it. Very good setup when you have to dress in a dress shirt and tie with no coat. You can hold up to a Lightweight Officers size 1911 or Glock 19 in it without too much discomfort.

Have one, use it some, like it for what it is. It *is* limited in it's use, however. Three suggestions:

1. Make sure you don't buy it too big. In fact, consider buying it one size too small. If you put a moderately heavy gun in it, and it's too big, it will be a real pain (literallly) and may print.

2. Be aware that if you sweat a lot, the gun will need very frequent attention. I have had the barrel hood of a P239 rust during the course of a day's carry.

3. It's definitely deep cover, though you could modify a shirt to make it work a lot faster. Consider sewing the buttons onto the front of the shirt and putting little velcro dots underneath to hold the shirt closed so you can "tear" the shirt front open if needed. Even then, it's going to be relatively slow.

All in all, and considering the relatively low cost, it's a worthwhile purchase. It's a heck of a lot more comfortable on me than a bellyband and could be faster too, although I've never had a pistol rust in a bellyband...

I have one as well.

Echo the recommendation to use a light gun! This thing is not comfortable at all when you have a relatively heavy gun (that includes a fully loaded Glock 19) pulling the collar down on your non-dominant side. A Glock magazine will not fit snugly into the off side "holster" so it is difficult to counter-balance a heavy gun with the Confidant.

I have found that the lightweight snubbys (S&W M38 or M342) work well enough. Any gun in that weight range or lower will suffice.

I have one too. I wear it when I can't wear a shoulder holster under my shirt or my pants are too tight for a shirt tuck. Oh, I carry a G27. It works well with a shirt one size too big.

I did a little creative sewing on mine to snug the gun and a mag better. I also added a thin piece of material inside the shirt where the holsters are because they scratched. I don't wear a Tee shirt under it.

I would get the full length one if I do it again.

All in all, not bad. It's another usefull option. :)

Thanks for the info.

One suggestion is that for those who wear a tie, you can keep an upper button unbuttoned and no one will notice, thus allowing quicker access to the gun.
