Unless I'm mistaken, the HAC-7 was produced by Holloway Arms of Texas. It was touted as the American FN and was available in both right and left hand versions. I'm also given to believe that there was some quality control problems with this gun which led its reliability to be suspect. At time of production, it was close to $700-800 per gun. Considering that an HK was about $400, the Holloway was quite steep. Can't tell you about prices today though.
