Anyone have info on Canadian Sig clone?

Sub MOA

Was at the gunshow today and a gentleman had a 9mm Sig clone that was manufactured in Canada. I'm not 100% sure of the name but it was something like C.A.B. (I know it was three initials starting with C) It was about 2/3 the cost of the Sigs. It's fit and finish looked pretty decent, although it had a less substantial feel (lighter and slightly trimmer). I didn't spend much time with it as I had other business to attend to, but I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on this pistol.

Thanks,

Josef Dlask was actually an engineer at CZ and went to Canada after the fall of the iron curtain in 1989. He then moved to Blaine, Wa. The gun is the DAC-394 and has an alloy frame, though a steel frame version is due out sometime. It is essentially identical to a P228 and the parts are interchangable between the two guns. Appreciate the help guys. I hope I'm not developing dyslexia. Had I known more about this pistol I might have given it some serious consideration. Will have to do some more investigating. Looks like a possibility.

Also, am I understanding correctly that parts that fit the Sig (grips, mags, sights, etc.) will also fit this 394?

Bad news. I e-mailed DAC and got this reply from the man himself:

Thanks for your interest. Unfortunately we can't supply our DAC 394's to the USA. We sent 2 shipments and since then BATF will not give us the permits to send any more.
Regards
J.Dlask

Not a happy camper since the more I learned about this pistol the more I wanted one.
