My Alaska travel buddy is a 450 Marlin, Browning BLR takedown. Does anyone have real world experience with Ghost Ring Sight installation on this rifle???
The original sights are on the barrel, but I want the Ghost Rings on the receiver, and I heard there are some that mount in the scope holes.
If you change over do you have to change the front sight, due to the possible difference in height between the barrel mounted sight and a receiver mounted sight?
How much bullet movement do you get if you take the rifle apart and put it back together? I would assume very little for self-defense range...
