Anyone have CGW EX/D sights in a CZ 75B or other CZ?

I am sending a 75B off to David at CGW and am considering putting these sights on the gun.

Does anyone have them and if so what are your impressions vs the stock CZ sights? This is going to be a range/night stand gun. I thought about night sights but I normally use a hand held light in home defense work and doubt that it will be used as a carry weapon where night sights are the most helpful IMHO.

Thoughts?

My only concern with fiber optic sights is the tube breaking or falling out. As for CGW's work, I've never had anything but positive impressions from what I've bought and when we talked over the phone when I needed help.

I have never had one fall out. Also if it did you still have the black front post which is basically a standard sight picture.

Then you have zero concerns. Order them (that was quick).

I have them installed on two of my full size CZ's. One set is approaching 2 years old and still has its original fiber rod. It has never fallen out or broke. Even if it did the set comes with spare fiber optic rods in two colors. It might take a minute to replace a rod of one fell out as long as you had a knife and a lighter with you.

The front is easy to pick up quickly and great for quick follow up shots. Both of mine are on competition guns so quick and easy is a good thing. With the thin front and wider rear notch you are not going to be doing any bulleye matches with them. But, for competition, range, or home defense (using a light) they are awesome.

Those CGW sights are made by Dawson Precision, I have a Dawson F.O. front sight on my STI Trojan and I wish all my guns had the F.O. front & blind rear sight combination on that gun, and I'd be very interested to get these sights on my own 75B, since Dawson makes great sight systems!

Yeah it is my understanding that David specd out the sight and Dawson makes it for him.

I've had the fiber optic front sight on my P01 and 97b a couple years, no problems other than getting the right point of impact.

However I did try that rear sight and the solid black, billboard-like surface did absolutely nothing for me and I sent it back. It's just too big for carry purposes and I had trouble with quick front sight acquisition. It's more of a slow fire target sight IMO.

I tried them and switched to Meprolights on a P-01. My point of impact was low and the front sight seemed more narrow than I like.
