If you have an average sized hand, they are probably the most practical grip you can put on it. If your hand is a bit large, you may do better with their grip that covers the backstrap.
I have a S&W Model 19, a Model 10, and a Model 64, which wear the Uncle Mike's boot grip. It is my grip of choice.
