Anyone Have Any Idea What This Gun Is?

Interesting and pretty neat !!!

mk70ss
No, I do not know but my SWAG on this is that it is a M/L pistol. Probably a "Muff-Pistol". Sure wish I could see a picture of what is below the hammer head on the frame. ….

Be Safe !!!

Muzzle loaders are not bored through.
Pinfires are struck from the top.
It's possible it's a Flobert, but more likely a blank gun.

It is a "Bonnie Blue" blank pistol made by Hopkins & Allen of Norwich CT in the 1870s.

Flayderman says it is the scarcest H&A derringer. Even though a blank gun, it is worth a bit of money if you could line up a H&A collector.

I saw a little gun like that and only markings on it were OK. It was bored through but I was convinced it was a toy. From pins it was same, hammer & trigger axels and one flat spring.
Only hammer was flat. The OPs looks like a Rim Fire hammer. Marlin made a OK derringer but wasn't what I was looking at.
