I'm toying with the idea of getting one of these and I've never seen one up close much less know anyone that has one. Are they worth getting or should I hold out for CZ?

Anyone have any experience with a Savage Model 25?

I figured as much but why? Other Savage rifles I have experience with have been good...

The 25 doesn't share the commonality with the 10,11,12, and 16 series if that matters to you.

That doesn't bother me. I plan to order it as a .17 Hornet and leave it that way. Right now my options are either the Savage 25 or the CZ. The Ruger 77 Hornet has been discontinued and I don't think they made too many in .17 Hornet...
I'm planning this purchase several months to maybe a year down the road so there might be other options by then...
