Anyone have a Konus pro scope>???

Bought a Konus pro 3-12X50 scope and put it on a howa 1500 30.06. Was very happy with the clearness at 100yds and over... first shooting however wasnt quite as appealing.... had it dead on at 100yds in four shots.... from there on it went downhill fast... the next four shots were pretty much all over on a 12" target..... I know I dont shoot that bad.... just wondering if anyone has one of these scopes on a heavier caliber rifle??? and if they had good luck with it??

I don't know a whole lot about the technical workings of scopes. I did look at the Konus scopes a few months back and the salesman told me the crosshairs were etched or cut into the glass and he thought that eliminated changing points of impact. In other words, no crosshairs to move or break. I wasn't sold on the theory and the glass didn't seem that clear compared to comparaby priced scopes, so I passed.
