Fave shop had a Barrett M82A1 .50 in the middle of the show room today. Big sign on it "DO NOT TOUCH". Damn impressive hunk o' steel. I can see why they want to ban such things it as it would easily fit in my front pocket. So who's gonna give me the $7300? I think I can catch the tax and some ammo cost.

If I give you $1000, can I have it every tuesday and 1 weekend a month???

Hey, there's an idea: Rifle time-shares!

Group ownership just like plane or boat.......

Cept the feds probably call it a conspiricy and nail all the owners under RICO.

Sounds nice, I stopped in a store today and for a mere 6900 dollars you can have a complete M-1D, Shilo Sharps in 45-70, and a honest to god HK 91..not a clone like so many are these days. Makes a pretty nice package deal.

Did I mention the Colt SAA Sheriffs model NIB for $1350.

It has become very obvious that my taste in firearms has far outstripped my ability to afford any more.

The Barrett is sweet. Here in Kalifornia we are not allowed to have one, but I found a bolt action for the same money!

One hella nice rifle!

Can't afford it though (at least, not while I still want to own a car).

Sure. I just deposited $7900 into my checking account today.

Oh, wait. Nevermind. Now the bank thinks I'm a drug dealer because I made such a big deposit and they won't let me access any of the money for a week. So, sorry, can't help you out.

(They say it's a federal law designed to prevent money laundering. Stupid drugs - the reason our freedoms are going down the drain. Moronic gun laws, undercutting search and seizure law, and stupid banking laws. AAAArgh.)
