Anyone following the 2007 Weblogawards Voting?

Voting is supposed to start tonight (Thursday) at their website. Numerous categories and some of my favorites made the finalist list. One of my favorites is DUmmie FUnnies, a site that makes fun of Democratic Underground moonbat posts. Another favorite of mine is RealClearPolitics.com which offers links to news and editorial articles differing sides of political subjects. Sorry to see that The LawDog Files is not on the list as it is much better than some listed IMO. Anyone have any of their favorites make it as a finalist?

Nominations for 49 categories ended October 17, 2007 and voting is scheduled to begin November 1, 2007. Final results will be announced November 8, 2007 at the BlogWorld & New Media Expo in Las Vegas.

Voting started early Friday morning and goes through next Thursday. I encourage votes for "Dummie Funnies" in the Funniest Blog category. You can vote once per day. Multiple votes in one day from the same computer will cause your first vote to be deleted.

For the Best Canadian Blog category I am trying to recruit votes for the site: "Small Dead Animals".

Here is the site to vote for the Funniest Blog:

Here is the description of "Sadly, No!" currently running second to DUmmie FUnnies. It is from their ABOUT page. They were the winners in the Funniest Blog category last year. Trying to prevent two in a row!

The site’s main running joke is in finding embarrassing slips or untrue statements by conservatives and linking to a refutation, saying, “Sadly, No!” Other running gags include posting pictures of conservative columnists on Internet dating sites, battling with a “singing troll” who sends homemade songs deriding the site’s contributors and commenters, and doing line-by-line putdowns of columns by Christian evangelists and other right-wingers. Sadly, No! also occasionally publishes phony columns at right-wing sites, and engages in other pranks.
