Anyone ever use Kasenit?

Especially on a hammer sear seat?

Any tips, hints, precautions?

A friend gave me his used 29 to look at, and among other things I discovered that someone had been mucking around with the sear seat and cut through the case hardening.

I'm going to recut the sear seat and hopefully use the Kasenit to reharden it.

Have used Kasenit to harden contact areas on a few small parts that I had to fabricate or modify myself and have had good luck so far vis a vis durability. Follow the direction carefully, and you should be good to go. Email any specific questions and I'll offer what help I can.
